Omari Hardwick is an American actor and model.

He is best known for his starring role as James “Ghost” St. Patrick on Starz’s Power. Another recognized role was as Vanderohe in Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead.

Hardwick grew up in Decatur and attended a private school in Brookhaven, Georgia, where he played all kinds of ball.

He went on to study drama at the University of Georgia, taking time out now and again to play sports!

Omari Hardwick is an American actor and model.

While studying acting in college, Hardwick initially pursued a career with the San Diego Chargers.

However, he declared himself for the NFL Draft after not being selected and, instead of getting disappointed, decided to further his career opportunities by returning to school so that he could learn more about what it takes to be an actor.

He first gained recognition in the Starz series Power as Ghost and his role as Vanderohe in Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead.

In 2010 Hardwick became a founding member of Plan B Inc. Theater Group and co-founder of Actor’s Lounge at the Los Angeles Greenway Theater.

Then, in 2012, he was featured in Prominence Magazine for its Holiday issue, which followed Hardwick to found production company Bravelife Films the following year.

To date, he has received some of his best film reviews for his role as Troy in I Will Follow in 2015 and has been nominated once during this timeframe for Best Indie Performance – Male by Black Reel Awards.

In July 2019, Hardwick starred with Zack Znyder in Netflix’s Army of the Dead.

In January 2021, he played a supporting role in the Netflix thriller Piece of Her. He portrayed Gordon Oliver, the husband of Patty (played by Ashley Benson).

In April 2022, Hardwick starred with Marsai Martin and Kelly Rowland in Fantasy Football and partnered with Apple to handle its distribution for theatrical release.
