Aside from being the CEO of the most extensive online network of real estate investors, he is also a licensed real estate broker, investor, and author of Set for Life: Dominate Life, Money, and the American Dream. He also co-hosts the BiggerPockets Money Show. Scott was born in September 1990 in the United States. He had his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and History at Vanderbilt University with a double minor in Financial Economics and Corporate Strategy.

After college, Scott went to Europe with his friends and spent a few thousand dollars saved when he was working summer jobs. Scott earned $48,000 per year on his first job. But, he wanted to make an impact at a company. His thought was how he could save the company a lot of money and how he could make a lot of money? Then, he discovered investing.

So eventually, he was able to save up to $20,000 in his first year, joined BiggerPockets, and bought a house duplex in Denver, Colorado, which started his path to financial independence.

Scott Trench is the CEO of the world’s largest online network of real estate investors, Bigger Pockets. Before being the CEO of the said company, he was a teaching assistant for corporate strategy at his alma mater, Vanderbilt University. Then, he became an associate financial analyst in Dish Network. He then went to BiggerPockets in 2014, where he was at Operations, where he developed new and existing revenue streams, accounting, strategic planning, community management, and customer success. Then, in February 2018, he became President. In November 2018, he became the CEO, where he assists excellent team members and is responsible for creating, planning, and implementing strategic direction.

Scotts’s company, BiggerPockets, help ordinary American achieve financial freedom through real estate investing. They help investors increase their success and investing careers. Scott’s book, Set For Life, outlines the journey to early financial freedom. Its content consists of the three-step process: saving, earning, and investing.

Scott is an active real estate investor, and he manages a private portfolio of about $1.5 million.
