When Toby Morse was 12 years old, he joined a punk music class and also some skateboarding lessons. He and his brother would go out to watch some band shows of Descendents and the F.U.’s. Through this, he gained an interest in music. In 1988, when he moved to New York City, he began entering the industry of hardcore punk scene. He became part of backup vocals on Gorilla Biscuit’s Start Today. After that year, he started being a roadie who travels with a band during tours. He served as a roadie for Gorilla Biscuits, Sick of it All, and Killing Time. From this experience, he formed H2O with Rusty Pistachio and Eric Rice. Toby Morse was also involved in the band, Haazen street in 2004.
One Life One Chance is the organization for which Toby Morse founded and created to focus on kids staying away from drugs, having a positive mental attitude, and educating people about eating a healthy diet. Being a vegetarian himself most of his life, he understands firsthand to live healthy without abstaining from animal products. Today, his One Life One Chance or O.L.O.C. has a podcast with the same objective.
Morse opened his own clothing line in 2006, Straight Edge O.G., which is stylized as S.X.E.O.G.
