John Meadows Unexpected Death
Professional bodybuilder John Meadows has died at 49. He passed away on August 8, 2021. John had a history of health problems, but no cause of death has been revealed. In 2005 he was diagnosed with a rare colon illness – Idiopathic Myointimal Hyperplasia of the Mesenteric Veins. He had to have his colon removed, returning to amateur bodybuilding classes later as a coach.
John Meadows was hospitalized in May of 2020 because he experienced heart attacks caused by blood clots. He recovered, but his physicians discovered a weakness in a portion of his heart. His professional life continued, and he started training and coaching people after that.
