Atif Aslam is a famous Pakistani singer, songwriter, and music producer. He was born on March 12, 1983, into an Arain family in Wazirabad, Pakistan.
Atif attended Kimberley Hall School in Lahore until 1991 when he moved to Rawalpindi to study at St. Paul’s Cambridge School in Satellite Town.
In 1995, Aslam returned to Lahore, where he continued his studies at a Divisional Public School and College (DPSC) branch for his HSSC from 1999 to 2001. He attended Fazaia Inter College for a bachelor’s degree in computer science from 2005 until 2007.
The Rise to Fame of Atif Aslam
Aslam is a trailblazer in the world of music, with a career spanning more than two decades. His tremendous success shows no sign of slowing down. He has won many awards and nominations. Most of the awards and nominations are from the Lux Style Awards and Song of the Year Awards.
Atif’s first album was Jal Pari, released in July 2004. The album was an instant hit that made him successful in his singing career.
His third solo album, Meri Kahani, was released in 2008 and was nominated for the 7th Lux Style Awards for Best Album.
He has three versions of Pehli Nazar Mein that made him into Bollywood success and won him an IIFA Award.
In 2011, Atif stepped into the Pakistani film industry, where he sang a song from the film F.A.LT.U.
For the following years, he continued to record songs for films and has been nominated and awarded for his songs and talent.
In 2018, he won the LUX Award for the Best Playback Singer.
Aside from his singing career, he made his acting debut in 2011. He starred in the Pakistani movie Bol with Mahira Khan.
Atif’s television debut is in a Pakistani series, Sang-e-Mah, just recently in January 2022.
Atif Aslam’s Wife, Sara Bharwana
Atif Aslam was married to an educationist, Sara Bharwana, on March 29, 2013. The couple is blessed with two sons, Abdul Ahad and Aryaan Aslam.
The two met at a wedding. Atif admitted in an interview that she had seen many girls, but Sarah was the first one he wanted to talk to.
Atif also said he did not contact Sarah on that very night. One of their mutual friends contacted Atif, and he asked about Sarah. Since then, the two started communicating and dating.
After 7 years of being together, they finally tied the knot. They had a traditional and extravagant wedding attended by their family and friends.
Sara Bharwana was born in 1984, and she is a daughter of an ex-policeman Punjab. She went to Kinnaird College for Women University.
