The Rise to Fame of Brian Alsruhe

Brian went to South Carroll High School. He lost his scholarship in North Carolina for a college baseball team because of a severe knee injury which made him enroll in Mount St. Mary’s University. While studying, he also ran his own Karate school and mastered his karate skills. He graduated and studied Sociology, Criminology, and Philosophy in 2002. He was already into kickboxing while playing on a high school baseball team when he was a teenager. He progressed into mixed martial arts, which made the start of his fighting experience and improved his athletic skills.

When he graduated, he was recruited by the government for a special military operation. Brian became interested in powerlifting when he was in high school and his workout buddy, Mike Jenkins. Brian competed in Strongman in 2014 and won his first competition.

Brian left his counterterrorism job and started his own gym called NEVERsate, and just in a span of a year, he had already garnered over 50 dedicated members.

Alena Alsruhe attended McDaniel College Masters Program. She worked as a school counselor and therapist in Frederick and Carroll County Schools. Alena has worked as a clinical counselor for over seven years, and she has been in private practice for five years. Now, she works as a strength coach and has worked and guided many clients for over 12 years concerning exercise and nutrition. She also worked with sports psychology for an athlete’s performance. She is trained in EMDR therapy for Trauma Work.
